Strategic Planning

Strategic planning isn’t difficult — but it does require that you travel through some specific steps. You need to be willing to complete a limited amount of careful analysis to be ready to make some big (and maybe tough) decisions and you will require the courage to get them implemented.

Are you up for that?

If so, then you will be able to use the material on this website to guide your strategic planning process through to a successful conclusion. I have given you a set of articles under the headings that describe the key steps in the strategic planning process. You may want to enjoy all of them, or you may want to select those that cover the topics that are of greatest interest. You will also find links to some YouTube segments where you will find me talking about some aspects of strategy that are easier to explain in person rather than in writing.

The steps covered are:
Step 1 — Be sure about your organisation's purpose and uniqueness
Step 2 — Uncover the strategic opportunities for your business
Step 3 — Make some decisions
Step 4 — Get them implemented

You will find steps 1 and 2 behind the button ‘Strategic Planning.’ Step 3 is behind the button ‘Strategic Retreats’ and Step 4 is behind the button ‘Strategic Implementation’.
